The 2018 Honda Fit is up for a refresh and this may be our first look at the updated sub-compact, which is expected to debut next month. The current Fit or Jazz as its known outside the US, has been on the market since 2015, so expect some updates to the exterior and interior.
On the outside, the leaked photos reveal an updated grille and a more aggressive front bumper. The headlights also appear to be slightly restyled. As you move towards the back you’ll notice new wheel designs, while the rear also gets a restyled bumper and new taillights. Inside the 2018 Fit is expected to get a an updated dashboard and a new infotainment system.
Don’t expect any changes under the hood, even though the idea of a turbocharged Fit sounds amazing. Expect the same 1.5L four-cylinder and six-speed manual or CVT transmission.
For added safety, the 2018 Fit will also arrive with new safety tech, like Lane Departure Warning, Lane Keeping Assist and Road Departure Mitigation.
The 2018 Fit/ Jazz is expected to debut next month in Japan and will likely arrive in the US by the end of the year.
